On this lovely sunny bank holiday Monday we had the pleasure of being Dan & Rachel’s Skipton Tithe Barn wedding band for the evening, at the oh so gorgeous, Cripps barn venue!
Another day filled with so much love and excitement for the happy couple finally becoming man and wife after a 2 year wait… we got there in the end, and it was definitely worth the wait!
Dan & Rachel booked us to play during their early evening reception, with us performing an acoustic set from 7-8 and then a full band looper set later on in the evening. They chose some brilliant requests from Eva Cassidy’s rendition of ‘fields of gold’ and the first song we learnt together 13 years ago, More than words by ‘Extreme’ to ‘Everywhere’ By Fleetwood Mac and Call Me Al by the great Paul Simon! With such great taste in music we could not go wrong!
After Tithe Barn’s in house catering Brought out the amazing home made pizza’s we got to work on our last set of the evening, Entertaining Mr & Mrs McGeachie’s family and friends… they had a brilliant time singing along to our music, as playing the good game of ‘guess the song’ whilst we built the looper of each track. I think our favourite part of the night had to be when we finished, Dan’s best man shouted ‘TAKE MY WIFE’.. which we could only take to mean that he thoroughly enjoyed the show!
Thank you so much for having us as your acoustic duo and wedding band for your glorious Tithe Barn wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer way to finish off the run of bank holiday weddings.
Congratulations to you both!
