We’ve written many blog posts recently about new venues we’ve visited over 2022 but it’s equally as amazing being booked to play as Jo & Paula’s Broadoaks Country House wedding band, especially as they loved our acoustic duo music so much.
Broadoaks Country House is one of our favourite Lake District venues to perform at, it’s so intimate with amazing views and we love kettle jo the wedding co-orindtaor a bit too much 😉
Joe & Paula booked us for their ceremony only, which was a nice change for us, getting to relax and feel like we were only stationed in one spot for a wedding. They chose some amazing songs for their wedding music, total old souls… The Beatle’s ‘when I’m 64’ which is a nice addition to our setlist, we don’t perform at many Beatles tunes as we should! Nat king Cole’s let there be love and As a little 90s joke ‘mmmbop’ by Hansen, which got a few laughs from their family and friends.

As the happy couple only booked us for their ceremony, our set, and the song requests were over in a flash, thats why we were so happy that jo and Pauls also decided to book us as their wedding videographers for the day.
If we haven’t already mentioned in previous blog posts, we also run a videography company, The Taylors Film And Photo, which includes wedding videography we create trailers and wedding highlight films for couples all over the UK,
