Elaine & Nadine found us via Facebook a couple of months before their county durham wedding day and couldn’t have been more excited for us to be their Beamish Hall wedding band. As a North East wedding band, we were thrilled to perform at such a beautiful venue. After scrolling through our custom recordings, they had a few favourites already as well as a couple of ceremony requests we hadn’t performed before.
One of the highlights of the day was when Elaine & Nadine chose our acoustic cover of ‘All My Life’ by Charlotte Jade as their aisle song. A perfect love song with a few harmonies, it was a definite choice for their special moment. They also chose one of our version favourites, ‘All I Have to Dream’ by the Everly Brothers for their signing of the register song.
We’ve loved performing this song for many yeas, and it never seems to get old. The beautiful, simple sentiment and sweet, continuous harmonies really light our candle. Nadine and Elaine seemed to enjoy it as much, if not more.

Beamish Hall was a new venue for us, but we were blown away by the amazing grounds and the huge Victorian-looking ceremony room where Elaine & Nadine both came through separate doors to our live acoustic music. After the happy couple had sealed the deal, they had asked their daughter and son-in-law to play them out with a jazz rendition of Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’. It was amazing!
After a quick pack down and setup, we were ready to go for a 45-minute drinks reception set. With everyone back inside as it started to rain, we cheered everyone up with a couple of tunes such as ‘Raindrops Keeping Falling on My Head‘ and ‘Send Me on My Way‘ by Rusted Root. We also couldn’t resist playing ‘Mmmbop‘ by Hanson.
After a few acoustic sing-alongs, we were packing down once again for the wedding breakfast. During this time, we like to blend into the background a touch more so that guests can enjoy chatting with their friends.
However, once we were done, Elaine did ask us to stay and play for another hour, which we couldn’t help but rock it up a touch more for everyone. As they mentioned they loved Bob Dylan, we had to include our favourite tune of his.

2022 has been a brilliant year for us, we’ve met so many lovely couples and performed in some amazing venues, Beamish Hall being no exception. We’ve had the time of our lives!
Thank you so much to Elaine & Nadine for booking us as their acoustic wedding singers. We can’t wait to see you all again sometime.
